May 14th, 2005Stinking Lizaveta is my kind of jam band. In possession of a nimble, subliminal band groove, the type made possible only by playing together for large spaces of time (I’m guessing these three could play for a few hours without a single glance at one another), and also a wealthy succession of chunktastic guitar riffs. SL is composed of lifers, folks who’ve been doing this for little acclaim and less money for many years, will continue to do so for many more years, and have no problem with it. read more…
